Returns & Refund Policy

Returns

To initiate a return, contact us at sales@atelierwalldesign.co.za or +27 83 200 7818.

Items sent back without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

Please inspect your order upon receipt and notify us immediately if it is defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can evaluate and resolve the issue.

Custom Wallpaper Refund & Design Terms

All wallpaper orders are custom-made to your specific requirements. Upon confirmation of your order, the design process will commence immediately.

This process may include:

  • Digital design development and revisions
  • Preparation of artwork by our DTP department and graphic designers
  • Customisation of designs to align with your specifications
  • Printed samples and/or digital previews for approval

Please note the following applicable costs:

  • Printed samples are charged at R250 per sample
  • Design and artwork are charged at R350 per hour, based on the time spent by our graphic design team

  • Courier/delivery fees will be charged separately for the delivery of samples and/or final products

Wallpaper orders can not be cancelled as these products are custom made to order and as per your requirements.

As all wallpaper is custom-produced, refunds are not applicable once the design process has commenced.


Lead Times

  • Wallpaper: 5-7 business days manufacturing lead time prior to dispatch.

Tracking will be provided prior to dispatch. We will arrange a suitable time for installation or delivery. Please Communicate deadlines clearly so we can meet your requirements.

 

Important Notes

  • We use third-party installers and are not liable for incorrect measurements provided to us. Please measure the maximum width and height. A 50 mm bleed is added on all sides for trimming purposes.
  • Once artwork proofs are approved, we will not be liable for reprints.
  • All wallpapers, mirrors, wall art, and custom furniture are made to order and non-refundable. Items damaged in transit will be replaced. Additional courier charges for outlying areas will be communicated before dispatch.

 

Shipping Policy

  • Wallpaper: 5-7 business days 

Tracking will be provided prior to dispatch. We will schedule installation/delivery, so please communicate deadlines to ensure timely service.

Certain furniture items, all mirrors and wall art are all custom made to order and non refundable.
